Abstract
For leaders, finding a recipe for success in building a cohesive virtual team in a post-pandemic world may be a struggle. With the outbreak of COVID-19, many organizations have seen growth in their virtual presence. Virtual teams bring greater diversity and the challenge of operating in remote locations rather than face-to-face settings. Finding practices leaders can use to build cohesiveness in their virtual teams can help them adapt to this changing environment. The purpose of this study was for Fortune 500 leaders of virtual teams to identify practices they used to build cohesiveness in their team. Building cohesiveness is important because it can increase morale, self-esteem, and performance. Leading to improved productivity, innovation and profits. This article presents some of the practices identified and how leaders can start applying them to their teams to be successful.
